虢国墓地属全国重点文物保护单位，位于河南三门峡市区北面的上村岭，是周代诸侯虢国国君及贵族墓地。整个墓区面积达4万平方米，共发掘出各类贵族墓234座，车马坑60多座，出土珍贵文物达1万多件。其中两座国君墓中出土了很多的珍贵的一级文物，如有“华夏第一剑”之称的玉菱铜芯剑、精美华丽的“缀玉面罩”等。虢国墓地的发现填补了我国西周考古史上的空白，为研究当时的文化经济提供了重要的实物资料。
